Dave Levy is a seasoned trial attorney with substantial experience (20+ years) in construction litigation and related matters as well as general civil disputes. His clients include owners, developers, general contractors, trades people, and material suppliers, as well as design professionals. Dave’s practice areas also include the fields of professional negligence, products liability, insurance coverage/litigation, retail/restaurant/hospitality, and trucking/transportation. To date, Dave has tried approximately 25 cases to verdict in the state and federal courts in North Carolina. He has also handled several arbitrations both through the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and private arbitration to conclusion. Dave’s practical and result-oriented approach is the perfect complement to our Construction and General Litigation teams.

Making a Difference
In the community, Dave has been involved in a variety of pro bono projects for most of his career. He has volunteered with Legal Aid of North Carolina, and locally, with Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy. Dave’s longest standing pro bono relationship, from 2007 to present, has been with the Counsel for Children’s Rights, where he has volunteered as a best-interest attorney for children involved in custody disputes.

Dave has lived in the NoDa neighborhood in Charlotte for nearly sixteen years. He is a staunch advocate of the community and assures us that we have made a wise move investing in the area. When not at work, Dave enjoys hiking, exercise and cooking.
