Scott Branam’s practice focuses on business law and business litigation.

Scott advises his clients on the full range of everyday legal matters affecting their businesses, including corporate governance, third-party contracting, leasing and real estate, finance agreements, and sales and purchasing. Scott’s clients include companies in various industries, including construction, financial services, medical providers, and professional sports franchises. Scott works closely with his clients to understand their daily business practices and their short and long-term goals so that he can give better advice on the legal implications of clients’ practices, policies, and procedures.

Scott also represents clients in all aspects of litigation including real estate, contract disputes, fraud, misrepresentation, leasing, employee disputes and company buy/sell agreements. Scott guides his clients through the litigation process with an emphasis on achieving effective, efficient outcomes.

Prior to joining Gardner Skelton, Scott practiced with a large law firm in Ohio and then in North Carolina. Scott also served as in-house counsel for a Medicaid managed care company in Charlotte.
