Attorney at Law

Rosalind Lane focuses her practice on business law. She counsels and assists clients with respect to business formations and governance documents, business owner agreements and succession planning, business combinations, purchase/sale agreements, and contract negotiations.

Rosalind has more than a decade of experience addressing the legal and business issues of health care providers, financial services entities, and non-profit organizations.

Prior to joining Gardner Skelton, she worked as a contract negotiator for a large, national bank, where she advised business partners and senior executives on risk mitigation strategies and negotiated terms and conditions of financial services agreements, RFP proposals, HIPAA business associate and subcontractor agreements, confidentiality agreements and other business forms and documents.

Following law school, Rosalind started her career with a large, regional law firm in uptown Charlotte, where she spent eight years practicing corporate and health care law, including counseling clients in connection with joint ventures, business acquisitions and reorganizations, financing arrangements, and regulatory compliance. She also provided pro bono services to non-profit organizations in connection with 501(c)(3) applications and other business matters.

In addition to her law degree, Rosalind has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and has worked with governmental and non-profit entities on program policies, operational procedures and management issues.
